What is bdeshConnect?
bdeshConnect is Bangladesh's trusted platform for Bangladeshis going abroad. We provide eSIMs, Uber vouchers, student accommodation, and essential services to make your bidesh journey easy — all payable in BDT.
How does bdeshConnect work?
Choose your destination, pick products (eSIMs, ride vouchers, accommodation, and more), complete payment in BDT, and receive your details instantly. For eSIM, we recommend installing before you travel so you connect automatically when you land.
Is bdeshConnect safe to use?
Yes. Payments are processed securely through Stripe (PCI DSS compliant), and we never store your full card details on our servers.

Student Accommodation

How does the student accommodation booking process work?
The process is simple: 1) Submit an enquiry on our portal with your details and preferred property. 2) Our partner Amber receives your enquiry and contacts you directly to confirm accommodation details. 3) Once you've confirmed with Amber, pay the security deposit through our portal in BDT. 4) After payment, Amber confirms and secures your accommodation.
What is Amber and why do they contact me?
Amber is our trusted global student accommodation partner with verified properties across UK, US, Australia, and Canada. After you submit an enquiry, Amber's team will reach out to you directly to discuss property availability, confirm details, and answer any questions about your accommodation.
What is the security deposit and why do I pay it here?
The security deposit is required to secure your property booking. By paying through bdeshConnect, you can pay in BDT without worrying about international transfers or currency conversion. Once paid, we forward this to Amber who then confirms your booking.
What happens after I pay the security deposit?
Once your security deposit payment is confirmed, we notify Amber who will then finalize and confirm your accommodation booking. You'll receive confirmation from both bdeshConnect and Amber with all the details about your property, move-in dates, and next steps.
Can I pay my accommodation fees in installments?
The initial security deposit must be paid in full to secure your property. After that, subsequent rent payments can be arranged through Amber according to their payment schedule. Contact our support team for specific payment arrangements.
What if my preferred property is not available?
When Amber contacts you, they'll discuss availability and can suggest alternative properties that match your requirements in the same area. You're not committed until you confirm and pay the security deposit.
Are accommodation bookings refundable?
Refund and cancellation policies vary by property and timing. Generally, deposits paid before Amber confirmation can be refunded. After confirmation, the property's cancellation policy applies. Always review the specific terms before confirming.
Which countries do you cover for student accommodation?
We offer student accommodation in UK, US, Australia, and Canada through our partner Amber Student, covering all major university cities including London, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto, New York, and more.

Orders & Delivery

How long does delivery take?
For digital products (eSIMs, vouchers), delivery is instant. Once your payment is confirmed, you'll receive your product details via email within minutes. For accommodation, the timeline depends on Amber's confirmation process (usually 24-48 hours after deposit payment).
I haven't received my details. What should I do?
First, check your spam/junk folder. If you still don't see it after 30 minutes, log into your dashboard to view your order, or contact support with your order ID.
Can I get a physical card delivered?
At the moment, delivery is digital for instant access. You'll receive setup details and instructions right away.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments (and supported wallets) through Stripe. All prices are shown in BDT for your convenience. Some banks require an international / multi-currency enabled (endorsed) card for online international processing—please enable it with your bank if needed.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe (PCI DSS compliant). We never store your full card details on our servers.
Can I pay in BDT?
Yes! All our prices are displayed in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka), making it easy for you to budget and pay without worrying about currency conversion. If your payment is declined, check with your bank that international / multi-currency transactions are enabled on your card.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. The price you see includes applicable payment processing fees. For accommodation, the security deposit amount will be clearly shown before you confirm.

Products

Are your products region-locked?
Some products are region-specific. Check the product description for region information. If unsure, contact support before purchasing.
Do codes expire?
Plans and bundles have validity periods. Check the product details for duration and start rules, and set up your eSIM before you travel for the best experience.
Can I buy for someone else?
Yes. You can purchase for someone else and share the delivery details with them.

Refunds

Can I get a refund?
For digital products, refunds are available for duplicate purchases, delivery failures, or technical errors on our end. For accommodation deposits, refunds depend on the booking stage — contact support for specific cases.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed within 3-10 business days depending on your payment method.
